Coaching Requirements

  • When attending a U12, U14, U16, or U18 Provincial Championship, one of the registered coaches or managers must be fully "Certified" or "Trained" at the required level. See the chart below or the document above, "Coaching Certification Requirements 2015," for age/level requirements.

  • When attending a U14, U16, or U18 Canadian Championship or Western Canadian Championship, one of the registered coaches or managers must be Competition Introduction Certified.

  • If a team attends a Canadian Championship without one fully certified coach/manager, then the team will be fined $2,500 (two thousand five hundred dollars).

  • If a team attends a Western Canadian Championship without one fully certified coach/manager, then the team will be fined $250 (two hundred fifty dollars).
