“Sandra and Gen bring a lot of experience to the ODC,” notes National Director of Umpires Jeff Whipple. “Their success in multiple sports, background as educators and proven enthusiasm for supporting others makes them ideal candidates to support innovation and diversity in our program as we move forward.”

Softball Canada also announced the re-appointment of Susan Strafford (Burnaby, BC) to another two-year term. Strafford was appointed to the ODC in 2013.

"We also need to recognize the contributions of outgoing committee members Len Gorgei (ON) and Noreen Atkinson (ON), both of who have served for multiple terms on the ODC." notes Whipple. "Their commitment to improving our program does not go unrecognized and both deserve our collective thanks."
