Team BC prospects will now move onto exhibition games and practices prior to attending the 2017 Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg, MB. The final 15 players who will represent BC at the Games will be selected in July 2017.

The games will be held from August 5th - 13th, 2017, and it's a special year as Canada will be celebrating 50 years of participation in the games.

Softball BC is proud and excited to announce the Head Coaches for Team BC for the 2017 Canada Summer Games.

On the women’s side we are pleased to announce that Mrs. Michelle Peters has been named as the head coach of Team BC. Michelle brings with her a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge. As the current head coach of the Douglas College Royals and Principal of the Elite Softball Training Centre in Abbotsford, Michelle feels that her national and international experience has equipped her to work with the athletes competing in the Games. At the 2013 Western Canada Summer Games, Michelle was the Assistant Coach for Team BC and with her experience at the university, Provincial and local association level, both as an athlete and coach Softball BC feels that Michelle’s experience has equipped her with the strategy, technical knowledge, understanding of team environment and administrative experience to lead the 2017 Team BC to success at the Canada Summer Games. Congratulations Michelle!
