12.2 k) DESIGNATED PLAYER: the designated player rule will apply for classifications in the A and B categories in U14 and older (Boys and Girls). To be read in conjunction with 12.8 a) x).

Article 14.7 c) – delete iii) and read as per the 2016 Softball BC Handbook

“Provincial championship format for all Senior and U21 Ladies categories. All teams will play a two game round robin. These games will be played under all present Softball BC rules. At the completion of all round robin games, the teams will be seeded from 1 (max number of teams entered in Provincials). All teams will then enter the Knockout Championship Draw. This format will follow as laid out in the Softball BC handbook, with a single knockout final. Hosts must guarantee that games will start no earlier than Friday AM, and that all championship games will be scheduled for no later than 4:00 pm on Sunday.”

“Exception for BC – For the category of U19C a player that has played U18C in the prior year has the option to register in U19C in their final minor year. A player registered on an A or B team in the prior year is not eligible, and a player can only register in one category (minor or senior)”
