Softball BC Announces 2022 Canada Summer Games Team BC Women’s Athlete Pool
Langley, BC., Friday, February-19-21- Head Coach Mark Dunlop, Assistant Coaches Allison McMillan and Michelle Webster, and Team Manager Lindsay Brown are pleased to announce Team BC Women’s Team long list of players for the 2022 Canada Games in Niagara.
The twenty-two players* named below are invited to participate at the June 2021 selection camp. Players who attended the September 2020 identification camp but are not listed below have an opportunity to earn an invitation to the June selection camp. Team coaches will monitor athletes through April, May, and June. Based on coach evaluations, up to an additional twenty-six invitations may be extended to players in the British Columbia softball community. The location of the selection camp is to be determined.

As always, Softball BC will continue to follow the Public Health Authority’s COVID19 health and safety protocols. If health conditions require adaptations to the selection camp or postponement, participants will be notified as soon as possible.
The Canada Games Council (CGC) and Niagara 2022 Host Society will hold the 2022 Canada Summer Games from August 6th to August 21st, 2022. The women’s team is slated to compete at the games the week of August 6th to 13th, 2022, in Grimsby, ON.
