Softball BC Office Closing Permanently

The Softball BC Office, located at 8889 Walnut Grove Drive in Langley, will be permanently closed as of April 30, 2025. Starting April 14, 2025, our staff will work remotely full-time from their home offices.

The decision to close the physical office was made to ensure funds are directed toward areas that will provide our members with the greatest return on investment.

The Board of Directors considered several data points before approving the Executive Director's recommendation to close the office and redirect the annual office expenditure of approximately $30,000 toward enhancing our staffing capabilities to better support our members. This decision also addressed the perception that incoming staff must relocate to the Lower Mainland to justify the investment in a physical office.

The impact on our members will be minimal as most have never visited the office. Recognizing this is a significant announcement, we have created a brief FAQ below to address members' concerns about this transition. We also ask that you take note of these important logistical changes.

Do not hesitate to contact Diane St-Denis at executive.director@softball.bc.ca if you have any questions.
