Softball Canada announces Female Coach/Umpire Development Bursary Program - Apply Now!
Softball Canada is excited to announce the Female Coach/Umpire Development Bursary Program, supported by a Sport Canada grant! This initiative provides financial assistance to female coaches and umpires looking to enhance their knowledge and expertise.
Running from March 1 to March 31, 2025, this bursary supports development opportunities at all levels, with funding focused on:
Female umpire development Female coach development Reducing financial barriers to participation Increasing the number of female role models in softball across Canada Who Can Apply?
- Individuals - Female coaches and umpires in good standing with their P/T and local associations.
- Local & Provincial/Territorial Associations - Organizations looking to support female coach/umpire development initiatives.
Funding Details
Applicants may receive up to $500 to support approved development initiatives. Priority will be given to new applicants who did not receive funding in the previous bursary program.
How to Apply
To apply, submit an application including your experience, development goals, and a proposed budget. All applications must be submitted between March 1-31, 2025.
