Softball BC would like to inform its members about a staffing restructure that is part of several changes approved by the Board of Directors, aimed at ensuring our long-term financial stability and growth.
The position of Finance Manager has been eliminated. We want to thank Jennifer He for her contributions to the organization and wish her all the best in her future endeavours. Effective immediately, Softball BC will be contracting out its bookkeeping needs.
Haili Pettifer has returned from her maternity leave today with a new title: Member Services and Communications Manager, which better reflects her key areas of responsibility. Haili's return also marks the conclusion of Alana Thomas' 12-month contract. We would like to thank Alana for her contributions to the organization and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
In early summer, Softball BC will be posting a new full-time position for sport development, which will increase our staff complement to four full-time and three part-time employees. Together, we will continue to work with our volunteers and contractors to support our members in promoting our sport throughout British Columbia.
