Mr. Dennis Eckert
Dennis‘ career in Fastpitch spanned twenty years when he was one of the dominant hitters in the world. Over the course of his playing career, Dennis has won six Senior A Men’s Canadian Championships, two Western Canadian Championships and was a member of the 1979 and 1983 Team Canada who took gold medals at the Pan Am Games. 1983 was exceptional, as the Victoria Budget Sr A team, which Dennis led, took gold at BC Provincials, the Canadian Championships, (where Dennis was top batter with an .875 average, a record which still stands today) and topped it off with a Gold at the Pan American Games! After winning four more Canadian Championships, an MVP and All-Star award in 1986, Dennis played Sr B where they took a NAFTA Championship and dominated Western Canadians winning gold in 1992 and 93. He wrapped is career up at Masters level in 2000 with the last of his gold medals at Canadians

Mr. John Green
Mr. John Green played in three decades of Canadian Senior A Championships, winning a gold medal in each decade. A third baseman and shortstop, John played from 1970-1992 with Comox Senior Men, Stuffy McInnis League, Victoria Senior A Men (Bate Construction-Budget), Victoria Masters, Payless-Royals, and Saskatoon All O-Matics. The list of achievements is impressive and includes Comox Valley Top Batter 1972-1974, Norwest League All-Star 1979, 1980, 1982, 1984 and 1988. John is a very humble person and always placed his team first. He has had a distinguished career stretching decades and we congratulate John on his induction into the Hall of Fame.
Mr Rick O’Connor
Mr. Rick O’Connor is no stranger to softball in British Columbia. His involvement started with Softball BC in 1986 when he began coaching his oldest son through Maple Ridge and Kamloops. In 2007 Rick was recruited by Bob Philip, former UBC Athletic Director to start a softball program at UBC. Over the last thirteen years Rick as remained an integral part of UBC Softball through his involvement with fundraising and support of the program personally and financially. Rick has always shared a passion for supporting Women’s Softball in British Columbia by also sponsoring the Canadian Open/Canada Cup through his company, Black Press. As well as being an outstanding sponsor, Rick also coached with the White Rock Renegades ’88 in 1998-2000 and again from 2003-2004.
Mr. Zeone Andrijaszyn
Mr. Zeone Andrijaszyn was respected by everyone who came into contact or had any dealings with him. He was the consummate volunteer, dedicating untold hours and expertise to Softball BC. He was the epitome of someone who would always look at what was best for the entire province. He was modest, honest, personable, approachable and trusted by everyone. Zeone was a long-time member of Softball BC. He began his volunteer time in Richmond, coaching his daughter and then became a member of Richmond Girls Softball executive. Zeone’s background as a chartered accountant and his dealings with RGSA led the Softball BC board of directors, to recruit Zeone to the Board in 2007. He went to serve as Director until May of 2020. During his tenure, Zeone brought the organization back into financial health, overseeing many changes to the operation and a firm hand in steering Softball BC to becoming a sustainable organization. It was always his dream and goal to see Softball BC become one hundred percent sustainable, financially, and to begin to build a solid contingency fund. Sadly, his work was halted when his health faltered, but he left the organization in good hands with a succession plan and an achievable plan to reach his goals. Zeone will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him - he leaves behind big shoes to fill and we thank him, and his family, for his dedication and commitment to our sport.
