Doug Allin Named Softball Canada U23 Mens National Team Coach

Langley, BC., Tuesday, March 9, 2021 -- With the selection of Doug Allin as the Head Coach of Softball Canada U23 Mens National Team, Softball BC regretfully announces his resignation as the Head Coach of Team BC Men’s Team for the 2022 Canada Summer Games.

“We know it was a very difficult decision for Doug”, said Rick Benson, Softball BC’s Executive Director. “Doug has worked exceptionally hard at putting together a top-grade programme, identifying the long list of athletes for the Games and working with his colleagues, assistant coach Sally Smith and team manager Phil Ransome, to prepare for Niagra.”

In the coming days, Softball BC will start the process to find a new head coach to head up the group competing for gold at the Canada Summer Games.  Softball BC wishes Doug every success in his new role with Softball Canada’s U23 National Team in the years ahead.
